Unit 6: Process Documentation & Monitoring And Evaluation

Unit 6 of the course covers the last significant step in the entire process of NGO management. It details the concepts of process documentation and monitoring & evaluation (M&E). In the section on process documentation, the Unit describes the process holistically, and how it impacts an organisation’s functioning and sustainability. Suitable examples have been used to illustrate the process and to facilitate the understanding of the concept. In the second section on Monitoring & Evaluation, the Unit deals with these two concepts separately, as well as stating the difference between the two terms which is often taken as being synonymous.
