To maintain the health of all the workers, it is important that there is provision of basichealth care and related facilities. Diseases are usually caused due to the ill effects of the exposure to various substances at the workplace. Medical examinations at various stages will help the employer to assess whether there is a threat to the health of his employees and take preventive measures against further damage.
Pulmonary function tests and audiometry are some basic tests to detect the damage to the lungs and the ears that are most affected in industrial settings.
