Risk mitigation in participatory budgeting

In the final topic in this module, we’ll explore some of the risks inherent in PB. We’ll use the wealth of international experience with this tool to then look at some of the most successful strategies for overcoming these risks.

In keeping with the learning exercise from the last topic, we’ll ask you to think about what risks might be particularly challenging in your local context, and about what mitigation mechanisms and techniques could be used to address these.
