Introduction to independent budget analysis
Analyzing public budgets can be a daunting and intimidating task but civil society organizations who engage in this type of work find that its objective, evidence-based conclusions make the task well worth it. While budget work can truly only be learned by "doing" in this presentation and reading material, we’ll give you an introduction to the basic steps for implementing an independent budget analysis exercise, some basic criteria to use in your analysis and how to use your analysis once you’ve completed it.
