Dear co learners, I am assuming that you have all been able to log in and familiarise yourself with Moodle. Moodle will be the learning platform that we will be using for the next 6 months and can be viewed as being a virtual university. You will be happy to know that there are currently 19 other courses besides this one that are also going on in Moodle at the same time. The methodology that we will be using will be a rich blend of participatory training based on the tenets of adult learning delivered through the open distance learning. My name is Nandita and I will be your facilitator for this course. I have been working in PRIA now for the past 8 years and more. I work in the gender team and work on two very exciting initiatives that I would love for all of you to be a part of. One is the campaign on the prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace and the other is the youth led kadam badao campaign to end violence against women. I will share more with you as we go through the course together. Right now for me, it is important that each of us is open and respectful towards each others views and try to learn as much as we can from each other so that the learning experience for all of us is truly a meaningful one.
